Outstanding Project Award

Objective

Since 1989, health professionals and students from various institutions in China have developed and implemented PSBH projects in their respective work environments and/or communities. This PSBH healthcare network in China has catalyzed significant improvements in health for thousands of Chinese citizens. To encourage more people to join this movement for "better health" and to engage them in the long-term journey to improve China's healthcare system, the Award for Outstanding PSBH Project is set up to recognize leaders of excellence.

- Plaque award

Sponsored round-trip tickets for 2 participants per shortlisted projects

- Assistance from the foundation to publish article in international journals

- Partial funding support from the foundation to expand the winning project

- Also, to encourage institutes to recognize project teams through award application,  a "PSBH Best Practices Award" will be awarded to one team in each institute

Eligibility

All PSBH projects have to be completed before October 2014.

 

Stage 1: Submission of application form

Application forms have to be submitted to PSBHChina@gmail.com before 30 November 2014. Late submissions will not be considered.

Stage 2: Selection of shortlists

An award committee will evaluate the applications to shortlist the most promising projects. The process will be through careful consideration of each application against each criterion listed in the table below:

Stage 3: Submission of additional information

DHF China team will contact shortlisted candidates in January/February 2015 (date subject to changes). They will be requested to provide the following additional information:

A short presentation

A list of publications generated by the selected project

Stage 4: Selection of winners

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to present their projects during PSBH China Symposium on 17-18 April 2015.  Based on the applications and additional information, winners will be selected and announced during the Symposium Award Ceremony.
